1 C flour
¼ C white sugar
½ C butter
½ C chopped pecans
1 – 250 g pkg. cream cheese
½ C white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 – 398 ml can pears, drained & sliced
Cinnamon (to sprinkle)
First layer: combine the flour and sugar. Cut in the butter until the mixture is fine crumbs. Add pecans. Press into an ungreased 9″ pan and bake at 350°F for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside.
Second layer: beat the cream cheese, egg, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the first layer.
Third layer: arrange pear slices on top of the second layer. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Return to oven and bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes or until set. Remove from oven and cool.
