
Base:
1 C butter (at room temperature)
1 C brown sugar
2 ¼ C flour
½ tsp. cinnamon
Topping:
4 eggs
1 ½ C coconut
2 C mixed candied fruit
2 tsp. vanilla
Base: cream the butter and brown sugar. Stir in the flour and cinnamon. Press into a greased 13X9″ pan and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Remove from oven.
Topping: combine the eggs, coconut, mixed candied fruit and vanilla. Mix well and spread over the base. Return to oven and continue to bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Cut the squares while still warm.
