The Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run benefiting Special Olympics is in the Ottawa Valley this week.
Today the journey begins in Ottawa, then shifts to Pembroke, Barry’s Bay and Petawawa tomorrow.
On Wednesday, the torch will be carried through Renfrew and Arnprior, and will wrap up the Valley tour Thursday in Perth and Carleton Place.
Runners will include local Special Olympians, along with police and corrections officers, as well as Canada Border Services Agency officers.
The Torch Run is the biggest source of revenue for Special Olympics Ontario.
