TOMATO ZUCCHINI CASSEROLE

1 C grated cheddar cheese

1/3 C Parmesan cheese

1 tsp. oregano

1 tsp. chopped basil

3 cloves garlic, minced

Salt & pepper

4 or 5 small zucchini, sliced

4 or 5 tomatoes, sliced

Topping:

Bread crumbs

2 tbsp. chopped onion

2 tbsp. melted butter

Combine the cheeses, oregano, basil, garlic, salt & pepper.  Place a layer of the sliced zucchini in a baking dish and sprinkle with half of the cheese mixture, then place the tomato slices over the cheese and sprinkle with the remaining cheese mixture.  Place the remaining zucchini slices over the cheese.  In a frying pan, combine the bread crumbs, onion and butter and brown.  Sprinkle over the top of the casserole.  Bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes.
