THIMBLE COOKIES

1 C butter

½ C brown sugar

2 egg yolks

2 C flour

2 tsp. baking powder

Jam or jelly

Cream the butter and add the brown sugar.  Beat in the egg yolks.  Combine the flour and baking powder and stir into the butter mixture.  Form the dough into small balls and place onto parchment lined cookie sheets.  Make an indentation with a thimble and bake at 350°F for 10 – 15 minutes.  Remove from oven and place a dab of jam or jelly in the indentation.
