The 10th annual taste of the Valley in Cobden this weekend was a huge success. More than 4-thousand people came out to the Fairgrounds on Saturday. More than 100 vendors were on hand, some coming from as far away as Ottawa. Up for sale was fruits and veggies, baked goods with crafters and artisans on hand for anyone wanting to get a jump on their Christmas shopping. 98% of the stuff that was sold at the Taste of the Valley was homegrown or handmade…as the theme of the event is “buy local”.
