Crust for a 9ʺ pie

4 tbsp. minced onion

1 tbsp. butter

2 lbs. ground beef

1 can condensed tomato soup

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. pepper

Sauté the onion in butter until tender.  Add the beef and cook until it starts to brown.  Stir in the soup, salt & pepper.  Pour the meat mixture into a pastry lined pie plate and cover with the top crust.  Bake at 375°F for at least 1 hour.
