1 head Romaine lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
1 head iceberg lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
1 cantaloupe, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 kiwis cut into bite-sized pieces
Toasted slivered almonds
Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.
½ C white sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. celery seed
1/3 C vinegar
¾ C canola oil
1 tbsp. chopped green onion
Dressing: bring the sugar, salt, mustard, paprika, celery seed and vinegar to a boil and continue to boil until the sugar is dissolved. Cool. Add the canola oil and onion.
When the dressing is completely cooled, pour over the salad ingredients and serve.Print This Post
