6 large cucumbers, peeled, seeded, chopped fine
12 ripe tomatoes, quartered
6 onions, chopped
Combine and cover with ½ C coarse salt. Let stand overnight. In the morning, drain well.
Sauce:
2 C vinegar
4 2/3 C white sugar
2 tsp. celery seed
½ tsp. curry powder
½ tsp. turmeric
3 tbsp. flour
Combine the ingredients and bring to a rolling boil. Add the vegetables and continue to cook for 15 – 20 minutes. Seal while hot.
