
Cake:
1 C sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
½ C butter, softened
1 C white sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 ½ C flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Topping:
½ C brown sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
½ C chopped walnuts
Topping: Combine all the ingredients and set aside.
Cake: Combine the sour cream & baking soda and set aside. Cream the butter and white sugar together and add the eggs & vanilla and beat well. Combine the flour & baking powder and add to the creamed mixture alternately with the sour cream. Spread half of the batter in a greased 9″ pan. Sprinkle half of the topping over the batter. Cover with the remaining batter and sprinkle with the remaining topping. Bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes.
