1 ½ lbs. ground beef

1 chopped green pepper

1 C chopped onion

14 oz can kidney beans, undrained

1 C fresh mushroom

1 can tomato soup

1 tsp. chili powder

1 tsp. white sugar

Salt & pepper to taste

Fry the ground beef and drain.  Place onion and green pepper in the bottom of a slow cooker.  Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and stir well.  Add the beef and mix well and place in the slow cooker.  Cook on low for 6 – 7 hours or on high for 3 – 3.5 hours.
