SAVOURY CHEDDAR BREAD

2 C flour

4 tsp. baking powder

1 tbsp. white sugar

½ tsp. onion salt

¼ tsp. dry mustard

1 ¼ C shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 egg, well beaten

1 C milk

1 tbsp. butter, melted

Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, onion salt, dry mustard and cheese & set aside.  Combine the egg, milk and butter and add all at once to the dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.  Spread the batter in a greased loaf pan and bake at 350°F for about 45 minutes.
