Three new road repair projects are now underway across Renfrew County which will cause some traffic slowdowns and delays.
In Madawaska Valley the replacement of a culvert on Wilno North Road means the road will be closed to two-way traffic and detours are posted. The work will continue until the end of September.
And still in Madawaska Valley, major work is slated to begin tomorrow on County Road 69 – Dunn Street. This will include road closures in the area and detours will be set up via Bay Street to Queen Street. This will continue until the end of November.
And work began yesterday to fix Gillan Road/Lochwinnoch Road from Highway 60 to Whitton Road, and from Highway 17 to Goshen Road. During construction the road will stay open, but will be down to one lane at times with minor delays. This will be ongoing until mid-October.
