RHUBARB – STRAWBERRY PIE

Pastry for a 2 crust pie

1 C sliced strawberries

4 C chopped rhubarb

1 ¼ C white sugar

¼ C cornstarch

½ tsp. cinnamon

1 tbsp. milk

1 tbsp. sugar

Line the bottom of a pie plate with pastry.

Combine all of the ingredients except the milk & 1 tbsp. of sugar and pour into the pie shell.  Top with pastry.  Brush the top of the pastry with the milk and sprinkle with the sugar.  Bake at 350°F for about 1 hour.
