Members of the Renfrew Curling Rink are doing everything they can to make sure curling stays in town.
One of the major expenditures facing the group is that the brine pipes under the ice surface constantly need to be repaired.
As a result, the club is in the midst of raising funds to get the pipes replaced, but the cost is enormous and way out of their present financial means.
The board and members of the club are reaching out to businesses, individuals, service clubs and local municipalities for assistance.
There will be an information meeting and Wine and Cheese social at the Curling Rink at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 23rd.
