RASPBERRY LOAF

1 C raspberries

½ C white sugar

2 C flour

3 ½ tsp baking powder

¾ C butter

1 egg

1/3 C milk

½ tsp vanilla

 

Combine the raspberries and sugar and set aside.  Combine the dry ingredients and cut in the butter.  To the berry mixture, add the egg, milk and vanilla and add this mixture to the dry ingredients.  Mix lightly.  Spread the batter in a greased loaf pan.  Bake at 350°F for about 50 minutes.
