Raspberry Bars

1 cup butter

1/3 cup white sugar

2 large egg yolks

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup raspberry jam

2 tbsp. icing sugar

1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions:

Beat butter and white sugar together; add egg yolks.  Beat together.  Add flour, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing after each addition.  Press 1 1/4 cups of this dough into bottom of 9 inch pan.  Spread with raspberry jam and add the remaining dough on top.  Pat lightly.  Sprinkle with icing sugar, then nuts.  Bake at 375 degrees F. for 35 minutes.  Cool completely on a wire rack.
