There is a special weather statement is in effect for Barry’s Bay, Killaloe, Petawawa, Pembroke, Renfrew, Cobden, Arnprior and Calabogie. Environment Canada says a significant winter storm is expected to hit the region this weekend. A low pressure system is expected to track over Southern Ontario on Saturday. This low pressure system has the potential to bring significant snow or rain to the area through the weekend. As of right now…meteorologists  are unsure of how much rain and snow we’re looking at…but they’re pretty sure it should be arriving throughout the day on Saturday and tapering off sometime Sunday.-AC
