
Base:
2 C flour
¾ C soft butter
2 tbsp. white sugar
1 tsp. milk
Caramel Layer:
½ C butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
¼ C brown sugar
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1 C broken pretzel pieces
Topping:
6 tbsp. soft butter
1 ½ C chocolate chips
1 tbsp. milk
Base: combine all of the ingredients and press into a greased 13X9ʺ pan and bake at 325°F for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Caramel layer: in a heavy saucepan, combine all of the caramel ingredients together except the pretzels. Bring to a boil and boil for 6 – 7 minutes stirring often. Remove from heat and stir in the pretzels. Spread over the base.
Topping: combine the ingredients in a small saucepan and melt together over a low heat, stirring constantly. Spread over the caramel layer.
