POPPYSEED POUNDCAKE MUFFINS

2 C flour

1 tsp. poppy seeds

½ tsp. salt

¼ tsp. baking soda

1 C white sugar

½ C butter

2 eggs

1 C plain yogurt

1 tsp. vanilla

Combine the flour, poppy seeds, salt & baking soda and set aside.  Cream together the butter and sugar.  Beat in the eggs, one at a time.  Beat in the yogurt and vanilla and mix until well blended.  Stir in the dry ingredients and mix just until moistened.  Place the batter in greased muffin tins and bake at 350°F for 15 – 20 minutes.
