The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP are looking for the public’s helping in finding
the two people responsible for a pair of break, enter and thefts in Laurentian Valley Township. Both thefts were in the early morning hours of November 25th. The first was just before 2 a.m. at Brum’s (broom’s) Dairy on Bruham Avenue … when two cash registers were stolen. Then … just before 4 a.m. … Colborne’s Fish and Chips on Boundary Road was broken into … and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken. Police believe the same two people are responsible for both B&Es. The first person was wearing a blue long-sleeved checkered hoodie … a baseball cap with a flat peak … brown work boots with black toes … blue jeans … and was wearing gloves and scarf over his face. He also had a Bud Light Blue Jays cooler backpack. The second person was wearing a long-sleeved shirt with hoodie … and was riding a CCM mountain bike with a two-tone coloured seat.
