Police and Crime Stoppers are looking for help from the public in solving a theft of an ATV.

On August 26a camouflage coloured ATV was stolen from a locked garage on Miller Street in Pembroke. It is a 2007 Can Am Outlander.

Police believe the theft took place in daylight hours between 8 a.m. and 1 o’clock in the afternoon.

If you have information, you are asked to call Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers at 613-735-8477 or 1-800-222-8477.

For one Arnprior hunter, getting prepared for hunting season came with a surprise.

When the person went to retrieve their rifle from a storage unit on Staye Court Drive in Arnprior, it was nowhere to be found. It seems the locker was broken into in June, and the only thing reported missing was a TV.

The owner didn’t notice the Marlin 30-30 lever action rifle was gone until last week.

The investigation is ongoing.
