Pembroke Jewelry Store Theft

Police are looking for a man who broke into a Pembroke jewelry store on Monday afternoon and are asking for anyone with information on the theft to come forward.

Just before 2 p.m. on January 25th the man stole a diamond ring that was shown to him by an employee at People’s Jewellers in the Pembroke Mall.

He then fled the mall and took off in a black 4-door vehicle possibly a Volkswagen.

He was English speaking, in his mid to late-20s, stood 5-foot-7 with a slim build and was clean shaven. He was wearing a white baggy winter jacket with the letter “P” on it, as well as, a red baseball cap and beige pants.

The OPP’s Forensic Identification Services Unit is assisting with the investigation. If you were in the mall or the parking lot at that time you are asked to contact the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP or Crime Stoppers.
