4 C fresh peaches, peeled & sliced

¼ C brown sugar

½ C cold water

1 tbsp cornstarch

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp lemon juice

Combine the cornstarch, brown sugar and cold water and add to the peach slices. Cook, stirring until thick. Remove from heat and add the butter and lemon juice. Place peaches into a greased 9” baking dish.


1 C flour

½ C white sugar

1 ½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

¾ C milk

¼ C butter

Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add milk and butter and beat until smooth. Spread over the peaches. Bake at 350° F for about 35 minutes.
