OPP seeks the public’s assistance

The OPP and Crime Stoppers are looking for help in two separate cases, one in Beckwith and one in Deep River.

Police in Lanark County are looking for the public’s help to find whoever is responsible for a break, enter and theft at a Davis Drive residence in Beckwith Township. The B&E took place between 8 and 10:30 in the morning on Thursday, February 4th. Items were stolen from the home, as well as, a trailer containing a number of lawn care products.

AND, Deep River police need help in a mischief case that took place on December 20th of last year around 7:15 p.m. A 4-door dark coloured pickup towing a light coloured horse trailer hit a business sign exiting onto Highwayy 17 in Deep River.  The driver hit the sign causing the glass/plastic front of the sign to break.  The driver then backed up stopped for a few seconds and continued westbound on Highway 17 without reporting the incident.
