The OPP and Crime Stoppers are looking for the public’s help in finding who is responsible for starting a fire on a school property in Barry’s Bay. Sometime between 3 o’clock in the afternoon on August 3rd and 6 o’clock the following morning a fire was set in the yard of St. John Bosco elementary school on Peter Street. The actual school building was not damaged but police found that someone removed items from a garbage dumpster and lit them on fire in the school parking lot. A second small fire was also lit near a bench on school grounds. If you know anything about this act of mischief and arson you are asked to call police or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
