The Precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been lifted. The Town of Renfrew and the Renfrew County District Health Unit has rescinded the Precautionary Boil Water Advisory issued on June 18, 2018 at 4:30 p.m.. Mandatory water testing has confirmed no indication of contaminants and Renfrew drinking water system remains safe for use and consumption. You are requested to run all cold-water faucets for 1 minute before using the water. Flush all garden hoses by running cold water through them for 1 minute. The Town of Renfrew wishes to thank everyone affected for their patience and understanding during the past couple of days. In Sports . . .
The Kars Aces won 5-3 at the Grove on Wednesday night in Greater Ottawa Fastball League play over the Stittsville 56ers. Brad Porter earned the win, while Kyle Olson took the loss. Kristian Knapp had a solo homer for Kars, while Al Read had two solo homers for Stittsville.
