An old sleight of hand trick was put into play at a business in Renfrew recently and a quick-change scammer made off with more than $200. The suspect purchased a small item and tried to pay with large bills. The employee at the cash was then asked to make change for other large denominations and this caused some confusion. The suspect then left and only later the employee realized they were missing close to $210. There is video surveillance and it will be used in the ongoing OPP investigation.
