MUSTARD PICKLES

4 C cucumbers

4 C onions

4 C tomatoes

1 tbsp. salt

1 ½ C vinegar

Take the cucumbers, onions & tomatoes and chop fine or put through a food processor before measuring.  Add the salt & vinegar and cook for ½ hour.

Mix together:

2/3 C flour

3 C white sugar

1 tbsp. dry mustard

1 tbsp. celery seed

1 tbsp. turmeric

½ C cold water

Add to the vegetable and cook until thick and yellow.  Seal in sterilized jars.
