
1 C flour
½ C whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
¼ C butter, melted
1/3 C maple syrup
2/3 C milk
1 egg, beaten
½ tsp maple extract
½ C chopped walnuts
Combine dry ingredients. Stir in melted butter, syrup, milk, egg and maple syrup. Stir just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in walnuts. Bake at 375°F for 15 – 20 minutes.
