1 lb. ground beef

1 onion, chopped

3 tbsp. rice (uncooked)

1 tbsp. brown sugar

2 tbsp. ketchup

1 C tomato soup

1 C water

Salt & pepper, to taste

3 C shredded cabbage

Brown ground beef & onions.  Add the rice, salt and pepper and cook for 2 – 3 minutes.  Stir in the brown sugar, ketchup, tomato soup and water.  Place the cabbage in a prepared baking dish.  Pour the beef mixture over the cabbage.  Cover & bake at 325°F for 1 hour.
