In Arnprior Thursday afternoon, Pamela Mimnagh was struck and killed by a pickup truck driven by her husband.
On Monday, Clive Mimnagh was in Pembroke court and was released on $25,000 bail. He is facing charges of dangerous driving causing death, and the investigation is ongoing.
During his court appearance, reports show that both the Crown and defence lawyer – based on the information in front of them at this point – felt the taking of Pamela Mimnagh’s life was unintentional.
Under the bail conditions, Clive Mimnagh is prohibited from driving or owning or possessing any weapons. He is also forbidden from any contact with witnesses or his late wife’s family, with the only exception being her funeral set for Oct. 9. He must have written permission from her relatives if he is to attend.
Mimnagh’s next court date is October 22nd.
