2 lbs. ground beef

3 garlic cloves, minced

19 oz. can kidney beans

2 large onions, chopped

1 green pepper, chopped

7.5 oz. can tomato sauce

1 tbsp. chili powder

½ tsp. oregano

½ tsp. salt

Combine the ground beef, chopped onions and minced garlic in a frying pan and cook until the meat has lost its redness.  Stir in the remaining ingredients except the kidney beans.  Simmer uncovered for 20  minutes.  Add the kidney beans and heat well.
