1 ½ C chopped dates

2 eggs, beaten

1 C white sugar

1 ½ C Rice Krispies

1 tsp vanilla

½ tsp salt

½ C chopped walnuts

1 tbsp butter


Heat butter, chopped dates, eggs and sugar.  Cook until mixture thickens.  Stir in vanilla, salt, nuts and Rice Krispies.  Cool and shape into finger-sized rolls and then roll in fine coconut.
