FRESH PEAR CAKE

2 C flour

2 tsp. baking soda

¼ tsp. nutmeg

1 tsp. cinnamon

2 C white sugar

½ C butter, softened

2 eggs

4 C pears, peeled & diced

Combine the dry ingredients and add the remaining ingredients stirring just until combined.  The batter will be stiff.  Spread the batter in a well-greased Bundt pan.  Bake at 325°F for approximately 1 hour.  Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack.  Sprinkle with icing sugar.
