
1 ½ C flour
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. cinnamon
1 C white sugar
¼ C butter
1 egg
1 ½ C grated apples
½ C chopped walnuts
Cream the butter, sugar and egg until fluffy. Combine the grated apples and baking soda. Combine the flour and cinnamon. Add the dry ingredients and apple mixture alternately to the butter mixture and beat well. Add the walnuts. Spread the batter in a prepared 8ʺ pan and bake at 350°F for 30 – 40 minutes.
