
Former Lanark-Renfrew MPP Leo Jordan has passed away.
Jordan, who served at Queen’s Park from 1990 to 1999, died on Sunday in Perth. He was a long-time resident of Montague Township and was a retired Ontario Hydro worker and beef farmer.
Jordan began his political career in Montague where he served as reeve and was a member of Lanark County council before making the jump to provincial politics.
Jordan’s wake will be held at Blair & Son Funeral Home in Smiths Falls on Thursday evening and Friday morning.
His funeral is at St. Francis de Sales Church in Smiths Falls on Saturday morning at 11.
Leo Jordan was 85.
