A fall fashion show that was put on by the Pembroke Regional Hospital Auxiliary has raised 80-thousand dollars. The money will go towards its pledge of raising half a million dollars for the health care facility. The Ladies Night at the Cabin fashion show took place on Sept 29th as folks who volunteer with the P-R-H Auxiliary modeled different items of clothing. When the auxiliary heard that the hospital was planning on upgrading the in-patient surgical floor along with purchasing equipment for the new Orthopedics program, they made a 5-year commitment to the hospital saying they would raise 500-thousand dollars for them by then. -AC
