  • Registration: 10:00 am

A highlight of this year’s in-person run will be the announcement of the winner of a hand-made Terry Fox quilt. Tickets are now available for this unique quilt which was made by Emma Russell, a long-time supporter of Terry Fox fundraisers. She made the quilt using vintage Terry Fox T-shirts and ribbons from previous year’s runs. “The results are stunning,” says Dan Donohue, one of the Renfrew run organizers.  “This beautiful quilt is a real collector’s item.” Making the quilt was not easy.  Russell spent over 70 hours on the project. The colourful quilt is on display at Scotiabank in Renfrew. Quilt tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. They are on sale at Scotiabank, Scott’s Shoe Store, Scott’s Hardware, Ottawa Valley Coffee, A Sense of Country, and Gourley’s Variety. Tickets are also available by contacting race organizers Patti Leclaire or Dan Donohue at terryfoxrunrenfrew@gmail.com
