March Break at the Champlain Museum-Pembroke

The Champlain Trail Museum & Pioneer Village is offering on-site activities for kids and families again during the March Break.  Anusha at the Pembroke Public Library, 613-732-8844

The Champlain Trail Museum will be offering craft activities for kids on Monday March 14th from 10:30 a.m to 12 noon with a cost of $10/child..  The craft activities are for children age 5-12.  Parents or guardians have the option of staying with their kids to do the activities on Monday. 

On Wednesday March 16th is the Amazing Race from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon for children aged 7-12 for a cost of $10/child.  This is a drop-off program.

On Friday March 18th the Museum is offering Shoebox Archaeology at the Museum from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon.  For children age 8-12 for $10./child.  You must register for this program by calling Anusha at the Pembroke Public Library, 613-732-8844 because this program is a partnership between the Museum and the Library.

Each program costs $10.00 per child.  Masks are required to be worn by parents and kids for all programs and social distancing is in effect. 

          On Tuesday March 15th and Thursday March 17th the Museum will also be open for tours from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is by donation on the Tuesday and Thursday. Contact the Museum by phone 613-735-0517 or email curator@champlaintrailmuseum.com to register your child in ADVANCE for these programs. We now accept e-transfer, debit and credit cards for payment!  Please register your child by Friday March 11th.

 

The Champlain Trail Museum and Pioneer Village is the largest Museum in Renfrew County with more than 10,000 artifacts among its collection.  Located in Pembroke, the Museum is owned and operated by the Ottawa Valley Historical Society and is funding by the municipalities of Pembroke and Laurentian Valley.
