3 tbsp. butter
1 ½ C macaroni, uncooked
½ lb. cheddar cheese, grated
¼ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
4 C milk
Melt the butter in a large baking dish. Add the macaroni to the melted butter and stir to coat. Add the cheese, salt, pepper and milk to the macaroni. Bake (uncovered) at 325°F for 1.5 hours. Do not stir while baking.
