An Arnprior woman is facing impaired driving charges after crashing her car into a ditch along Highway 17 last week.
The 55-year-old fled the scene after her car left the road near McLean Drive in McNab-Braeside, but police found her near the accident, attempting to hide in the long grass. She was arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving over 80. She’ll be in court later this month.
Vandals in Pembroke may have thought their prank was funny, but police and taxpayers may not see the humour.
On September 27th police responded to a call that someone had poured liquid soap into the fountain at Coronation Park on Lake Street.
As a result, charges are pending against two young males. The cost to the City of Pembroke is in the neighbourhood of $400.
