CUSTARD RICE PUDDING

1/3 C rice

1 C water

2 eggs, beaten

½ C white sugar

½ tsp. salt

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. butter

½ C raisins

2 ½ C milk

Cook the rice in the water.  Combine the eggs, sugar, salt, cinnamon and butter and mix well.  Add the rice and raisins and stir in the milk.  Bake in a casserole at 300°F for 1.5 hours.  Insert a knife in the centre and if it comes out clean, the pudding is cooked.
