
8 C ripe cucumbers
4 C onions
2 red peppers
1 C vinegar
2 tbsp. pickling salt
5 C white sugar
½ C flour
2 tbsp. dry mustard
1 ½ tsp turmeric powder
Water
Chop cucumbers, onions and peppers. Add vinegar, pickling salt and sugar and boil for 10 minutes. Combine flour, dry mustard and turmeric and add enough water just to dampen the mixture. Add to the cucumber mixture and boil until thick. Bottle and seal.
