3 stips bacon

1/4 cup chopped onion

2 chicken bouillon cubes or

2 tsp bouillon powder

1/4 cup finely chopped carrots

2 to 3 cups diced raw potato

1 can cream style corn

2 cups milk

2 tbsp. flour

Salt and pepper


Cook bacon, drain and cut into small pieces.  Saute onions.  Add carrots, potatoes, flour and 1 cup milk.  Stir until vegetables are almost tender.  Remove to a cooking pot or a microwave bowl.  Add chicken bouillon, bacon, cream corn and remaining cup of milk.  Heat (but don’t boil) for 10 to 12 minutes.  Serve with crackers or French Toast.
