
Brownies:
4 eggs
1 C canola oil
2 C white sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 ½ C flour
½ C cocoa
½ C chopped walnuts
Filling:
½ C softened butter
½ C brown sugar
½ C white sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C flour
Glaze:
1 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp. butter
¾ C chopped walnuts
Brownies: beat the eggs, oil, sugar and vanilla until well mixed. Combine the flour and cocoa and gradually beat it into the sugar mixture. Stir in the walnuts. Spread the brownies in a greased 13X9″ pan and bake at 350°F for about 25 – 30 minutes. Cool completely.
Filling: cream the butter and the sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the milk and vanilla. Gradually beat in the flour. Spread over the cooled brownies and chill until firm.
Glaze: melt the chocolate chips and butter and stir until smooth. Spread over the filling and sprinkle with the walnuts and press them into the filling.
