Eganville native Gerry Bimm has been in broadcasting since 1977.
He brings with him decades of experience in the industry, and that transfers well to his role in advertising sales up and down the Ottawa Valley and into the Pontiac region.
Until early 2009, Gerry worked in the television industry in various senior production and promotions roles. He has also been a municipal councillor, and spent several years promoting the hobby of vintage snowmobile collecting and snowmobile racing.
Gerry’s more than three decades in Ottawa Valley broadcasting has given him an intimate knowledge of business and life in the Valley Heritage Radio listening area. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Roslyn, and their three dogs, Springer, Tango and Rufus.
His hobbies include snowmobiling, ATV’ing, boating and motorcycling.
Gerry also has both a black belt and a brown belt, and swaps them out each day, depending on the colour of shoes he is wearing!
