
1 C raisins
1 ½ C water
Boil the raisins and water together for 10 minutes and let cool.
1 ½ C flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp soda
½ tsp salt
½ C butter
¾ C white sugar
1 egg, beaten
Combine the dry ingredients and set aside. Cream together the butter, sugar and egg. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the raisin mixture to the butter mixture. Place batter in greased muffin tins. Bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes.
