16 slices of white or brown bread, crusts removed

8 slices ham

2 C grated cheese (mild or medium)

6 eggs

3 C milk

¼ C chopped onion

¼ C chopped green pepper

Salt & pepper to taste

½ tsp. dry mustard

1 tbsp. Worchestershire sauce

In a greased 13X9″ pan, place 8 slices of bread in the pan.  Cover the bread with ham, cheese, onion and pepper.  Place the remaining 8 slices of bread on top of mixture.  Beat the eggs, milk, salt, pepper and Worchestershire sauce together and pour over the bread.  Cover with the grated cheese.  Cover and refrigerate overnight.  Bake, uncovered, at 350°F for one hour.
