CHOCOLATE CHIP NUT BARS
Crust:
1 C flour
1/3 C butter
¼ C white sugar
Topping:
2 eggs
½ C corn syrup
½ C white sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 C chopped walnuts
1 C milk chocolate chips
Crust: combine all the ingredients for the crust until crumbly. Press firmly into a prepared 9ʺ pan and bake at 350°F for 12 – 15 minutes.
Topping: beat the eggs, corn syrup, sugar and melted butter together until well blended. Stir in the walnuts and chocolate chips. Pour evenly over the crust. Bake for about 30 minutes or until the topping is set and golden brown. Cool and cut into squares.
